Brrring on the bell!
I wanted a bell reminiscent of the old bicycle bells from my childhood. This is a wonderful update of that product. A loud ring that reverates on & on. Quick delivery and very fair price. Many thanks. Top to learn more

Excellent for dinging at appropriate and not so appropriate moments
I have to say that this solid brass victorian style bell exceeded all expectations. The bell itself has a ring somewhat similiar to the beautiful tones created at the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. Quasimodo himself would have been proud to include this in his bell ringing stylings. But sound is not the only aspect that this bell exceeds at. The beautiful luster glistens when viewed at every angle, I'm really looking forward to the patina that this instrument will someday possess. If you're looking to really set yourself apart from others (bell ringers and non-bell ringers), this excellent display of craftmanship will certainly do that for you. One ring and you'll be hooked and all your friends and family will covet what you now possess.

Love this classic bell
I received this for Christmas after putting it on my wishlist and was happy to get it. Since I was a kid I've never been able to resist ringing bells like these at the counters of businesses (whether an employee is standing right there or not). It's also veeery loud, so be prepared :P

Beautiful brass bell!
I hadnt visualized the size of the bell! It could be used for a country school bell but its terrific in a sick room! Its 3.75in across and 7" high means EVERYONE will come running! But yes, you can ring it softly too. Seems a terrific value. The handle is a hardwood, mahogany I think and its coated to protect the brass. Ive had it for over a year and it still looks new. It really is beautiful and it looks great on my desk! Top to learn more
Great product
I needed a bell for a one-room schoolhouse recreation. This bell was perfect. It's well made and very loud. The other bells I found were too small for use outdoors. The students loved it whenever I rang it. Top to learn more

Lovely Bells
I had purchased bells like this in a quaint New England hardware store 24 years ago. I have had so many friends ask where to buy them and was never able to find anything like them....until now. These bells are EXACTLY like my original ones. They have a wonderful, happy sound as soon as my front door is opened. This nice part is I can be anywhere in the house and if anyone opens or tries to open my door, I hear it. They make for an unusual gift as well. Top to learn more

delightful sounds evoke old fashioned memories
The product is exactly what I was looking for but couldn't find because I did not know what the correct name was for it. "That bell 'thingy' that used to hang on shop doors" just didn't cut it when searching for the product. Once I knew to look for "shopkeepers bell" it was easy. This product is well made of real brass and is practical as well as beautiful. I only gave it a four star because I had to figure out how to keep the top on as it tends to unscrew as the bells(there are three) rotates. Ended up drilling a very, very small hole in the top and screwing in a brass screw to secure the top. One injured finger later the bell was mounted and delightfully announces whomever uses my back door--much better than the alarm buzzer that comes with the alarm system. If you don't want the bells to ring just put a piece of tape on the hanging pendulum and silence reigns. Couldn't be better. This would be great for a busy family trying to keep track of just where the kids are!!! Top to learn more

Looks great, sounds great, needs minor modification
This bell is attractive and classic, with a nice rich - not tinkly - sound. It is also very easy to assemble and install. However, I needed to make two minor modifications to get it to ring reliably on a sometimes gently-opened door. First, the bracket was mounted so that the hang strap bumps the overhanging door frame, increasing the likelihood of jostling the bell and ringing it. Second, and more important, the wire suspending the clapper was replaced with a string, so the clapper can swing freely (the wire is too stiff). These modifications were quick and easy, and I'm happy to recommend this product. Top to learn more
The price turned into appropriate and I got extraordinary high-quality 6″ brass bell. Standard for the 6″ brass bell price this product is excellent. Thank you for a best 6″ brass bell at a very not pricey price.
