Awesome sound!
After hitting away at some Sabian B8's for a number of years, wuhans, these were a must. I have played on Zildjian products (not too exciting), other Sabians (AA's). HHX tops them all. The ride has a nice crisp dry ping on the bell, and a textured washy sound on the rest. The high hats are stunning. The O-Zone is like a washy crash, and has a very distinct sound. My favorite cymbal though is the crash. Its dark, expressive, and competes directly with Zildjian's "K" line. Get these cymbals and you will not be disappointed.

You want the best ?
After not playing for 25 years I decided to return to music again. I have always been a huge fan of Zildjan but I did aquire a few Sabian cymbals in a few kits I purchased. Read about the history of Sabian and you will learn as I did. Excellent!
These cymbals sound incredibly like Zildjians. (Of course, the founder of Sabian was a member of the Zildjian family!) You cannot go wrong for the price. I bought them to complement the new Ludwig trap-set I ordered from Amazon, and am absolutely thrilled with their quality, sound, responsiveness, timbre, etc. A terrific purchase.

Great price, ok cymbals
This is a great pack of cymbals especially for begginers. The hi-hats are great, good sounding, the ride is very good and great sounding, the crash on the other hand is good sounding at first but then i don't know what it is but mine started to sound very dull, but great set over all.

Awesome Cymbal set for the price
I am a begining drummer, and I bought a used set which included cymbals. When I started playing it the drums sounded OK, but the cymbals... Trash can lids sounded better! I ordered the Sabian B8 Super Set because I wanted a variety of sounds. It comes with hi hats, two crashes, a big 20" ride and a nice splash. The sound that comes out of them is great! You can probably get better sounding cymbals at 3 or 4 times the price, so for the price of this set they sound awesome! I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good student cymbal set
I am a beginner drummer and I bought this cymbal set as an upgrade because the basic set I started with (stock 14" hats and 16" crash in Fender Starcaster beginner drum set) was basically too crappy. The Sabian B8s were definitely a huge improvement, but do not expect these to sound like the cymbals on professional recordings. They do not sound as nice as heavier cymbals, but the sound is good enough and the range of sounds is varied enough to expand your learning possibilities as a beginner drummer, including the basic 14" hats, 20" ride and 16" crash, plus 14" and 18" crashes and even a 10" splash. The range of sounds and the price are what make this cymbal set a good choice for a beginner drummer IMHO.

Great Buy
I love Sabian products. I purchased a set of chimes from sabian and they sounded great. I was searching for a low price product but with great value and I definitely got it! I was a little iffy about it, but after reviewing it on youtube videos, i found that for the money it was a great deal. Very crisp clean sounding.

Great for its price!!!!!!!
I was scared when buying this probably because of the photo. The photo shows four cymbals that include a 14 hats,16 thin crash,18 thin crash and a 20 ride but the background image shows a case that says 3 cymbals. I took the risk and thought "well if i only get 3 cymbals its still a great price". When it came to my house there it was the four cymbals and it was the Sabian B8 Performance Set Plus. I think they just wrote it wrong because in the background you see the performance set(3 cymbals) but dont worry your getting all four. Over all its a great price and great cymbals to go along with it strongly recommend it. The only downfall is the scare I got buying it.

cheap and effective!
These get the job done for a very low price! Just a note to people who have never used rivets in their cymbals before - they will not stay in your cymbal through your playing as is. After you place them in the drilled holes in your cymbal, you'll need to widen the tip somehow so that it can't vibrate out of the hole in the cymbal. A temporary way to do this (in case you don't always want the sizzle) is to tape a small bit of tape at the tip and remove it when you don't want the sizzle. The permanent way to get them to stay is to crush the tip so that it resembles a flat head (like a screwdriver) with a pair of pliers. If you're looking for a sizzle in any of your cymbals, this is probably the cheapest way to get that sound! (taping pennies and hanging chains on the cymbal don't really do it for me)

I was quite pleased with the product as advertised, the price and even received a drum key i was not expecting. Shipping could have been less, a green issue, if the package was placed in a padded envelope instead of a box. This is an Amazon issue and not the rivet manufacturer.
