PERFECT RIDE SOULMATE
Anyone who says this ride sucks THEY ARE WRONG!! i played quite a few name set of cymbals from sabian to zilijanz(custom A's,K's)sadly ZBTS (the hats were ok but crash and ride NO) but nevermind those if your a drummer who on ca budget and needs so goos soundind reliable cymbals for not to much MEINL HCS SERIES IS THE WAY TO GO! of course if you can afford mcs they are wayyyy better! I have no complaints about mine the thing about this is it will take time gettin used to and you will have to fidlle with it to find the sweet spots you like and that fit your style mine is the bell PERFECT FOR when i play metal and do hip hop and R&b covers and also my other favorite is around and near the bell well thats all i gotta say!!! i strongly reconmmend to all skill levels

Quality
Yet again another great HCS cymbal from Meinl. It has a great ride sound, a nice ting on the bell, and it is an AWESOME complement to the 16" crash. It is heavier and louder than the thin 16"(which is also great, therefore good sounding. Could sound better, but for the price it is marvelous, you should get it.

Amazing cymbal for the price you pay! I used to own Meinl Byzance cymbals and they were only slightly better than these bad boys! Wish I would have known that back in the day! The Cymbal has a beautiful ring to it (Not too metallic sounding) and the bell is great on it. I play metal with it, so when I am doing some chuggy breakdowns it is the perfect sound I am looking for! HCS + Price = GODLY

Great Price, Great Sound, Great Build (Where's the catch?)
First off, don't think that because I gave this cymbal 4 stars that I am in any way unsatisfied. This is an impressively nice cymbal considering the budget price attached to it. I give it four stars because it is not a top of the line cymbal, and I don't want anyone to be misinformed. I bought this cymbal in part to replace my 20 inch ride and also to get some more attack out of my cymbal work. While I may in the future return my ride to it's normal spot, I will certainly be keeping this cymbal as a part of my current setup.First off, an examination of the sound. While I enjoy the sound I get from the bell, the main draw is the tone from the cymbal itself. It is rich and bright while still having a good edge. Going back and forth from bell to cymbal sounds great. The only minor qualm is that the bell tone does not produce as loud a 'ting' as most rides would give you. The crashing aspect of this cymbal sounds great and produces a lot of volume without too much work. This...

A Good Deal For a Practice Kit Cymbal
The highest point of this product by far is the price. I have yet to find a cheaper 20" ride cymbal, at least not one that I could use. This one is certainly usable, and has put up with months of daily abuse with no sign of cracks or dents. It has a very bright sound, one that is not exactly studio quality, but for practice or even small gigs, it's alright. Anyone who's putting together a kit, is short on money, and isn't looking for pro equipment should consider this item.

I had heard some very negative reviews about this cymbal, but I had chance to hear it at a local store. when it arrived and I placed it on my kit, it was everything I needed in a ride cymbal. I use to own a Zildjian 22" ping ride and the ZBT sounded very similar to that. it will cut through the amplified guitars etc, very well. When you sit behind it, it will sound overpowering, but let someone else play it and walk away from your kit and you will hear the true beauty of this cymbal.another good thing about this purchase was the price. it was $45 including shipping, in my opinion a great deal

Great cymbal stand!
I had played drums for over 30 years for countless musical groups until giving it up a few years ago for health reasons. Now, with twin granddaughters I have reclamated my old Tama's from the attic for the purpose of teaching the ladies how to play the drums. Problem: Everything was still there except for my ride cymbal stand. AMAZON COMES THROUGH AGAIN! For the amount I had to spend I was able to purchase the perfect cymbal stand to complete my "antique" drum set. My ladies are happy and granddad is happy. I would recommend my Pacific boom cymbal stand to current professional percussionists and retired one's as well! Excellent quality and flexibility!
