Book Review
An excellent source. I was able to date the year that my Kimball reed organ was made which was 1895 because I was able to locate the number on the back of the organ and match it with the list provided in the book. My grandparents paid $50 for it in 1896 and, when I found an inflation chart in an internet search, today's purchase price would be $1200.Very useful book.

Amazing
I had the fortune of attending a special screening for this DVD in Hollywood. I arrived not that familiar with the Eels, but left a huge fan of them. This is beautifully shot, the Director did an amazing job highlighting just how spectacular of a performance this was. I immediately came home and placed an order for it and several of the Eels albums.

His stage presence and sardonic delivery only enhanced the dark whimsy of many of his pensive compositions. If you love Eels, you will love this DVD. Splendid!
The DVD is first-rate. This is not eels music that all will be familiar with, but it's not supposed to be. The strings are beautiful, Chet and the other guy play more instruments (or variations of instruments) than Mike Oldfield on horse tranquilizers and E sounds great. You can tell he's having a blast, and for him to have fun is not always so easy.If you are looking for a greatest hits concert, this isn't it. What it is, however, is a splendid collection of great songs in an intimate setting. One song I particularly loved is Pretty Ballerina, the old Left Banke song.Nicely done, Mark Oliver Everett aka "E" and the rest of the strings and band. A++++++

This is my fourth order of Watts Beauty Argan Gold oil. And it IS like gold to me! I smooth some on after a shower and then put Kiehl's body lotion on over it. Amazing 1800′s Large Wood Pump Organ. If needed, I can deliver for a very fair fee ($100. It does not pump (probably needs a little work under the hood), but it is fully intact, and a beautiful piece overall. I can also deliver the same day for no additional delivery charge (beyond the $100. It’s not too heavy, and comes in two pieces, but I would need help in offloading it anywhere beyond the driveway.

The other joy for me that already happens is to gather around our family pump organ and sing hymns. My personal experience of Sunday and Wednesday evening folk dance rehearsals at college (yes, some of the dances included singing, too) would certainly confirm that data and was a primary reason why I wrote my thesis on that topic. I have dreamed about (and it will happen) gathering family and friends to dance folk dances in an outdoor area at my cabin. I believe music is a gift from God, enabling us to experience God and God’s creation in a unique and beautiful way. One of the ways to joy is to sing or dance. I am certainly not against well-polished music, but we have gotten to an age when we discourage others from using a foundational language of life, music. At each house, we sang a different song about God’s love for us and God’s creation. Where do yo sing and dance for joy. Sandy, I teach a very simple circle dance call Mayim Mayim. Where do you sing and dance the faith. When I am invited to work with confirmation students and parents, I almost always begin with a Jewish circle dance. Fifteen years later I went to Jerusalem and was invited to an evening of israeli folk dance and they did it there, too. In 1975 I actually wrote a master’s thesis entitled “The Mental Health of Social Folk Dance” so I am a bit biased. Singing is second nature to me, and I take every opportunity to use music to glorify God.
