Everything I could ask for and more
This drum set exceeded my expectations in every way. It came complete with cymbals, drum sticks, all stands/hardware, and a drum stool. Was pretty easy to put together with the supplied web site and video (took approx. 1 hour from start to finish). It has a sharp look to it, and has a good sound - it's definitely loud! My neighbors are going to love me. It appears to be very sturdy. Really can't think of any negatives, and I'd highly recommend it to anybody looking for a beginner/starter set.

Great for "jamming"
My brother and I purchased these drums with some of our working money and are very plesed with them. Thay are great fot the beginning drummer, and if you want to play the drums now, I really recommend these. I hope this helps you decide!!!

Fantastic deal
To start out, don't listen to these snobs, this drum set sounds great, and the contents and price make it a great bargain. This set does come with everything you need to start playing. It even includes a tool/key to tighten the tension rods (I didn't realize it was there until I was all finished). The snare comes put together, and the snares are made of steel. All and all if you tune the drums right, it will sound great. This is a full size drum set, but it come disassembled and enclosed in two medium sized boxes, so don't freak out when you receive the boxes, thinking you mistaken it for a junior size. Now for the people snubbing this product, keep in mind that your getting a standard drum set, not just 5 drums. And if you dont like the sound of the drums, then re-tune it. If you don't like the sounds of the cymbals, then go a buy the cymbals you desire. To me the cymbals sound great, and overall the set is great. The only bad thing about this set is the...

BEST EVER
i have owned MANY practice pads sets for my drum set trying to practice quietly and these are the best, VERY quiet due to the wood the pads on own it make it very quite for a drum set and they actually have a close response to how real drums feel unlike most practice pads for drum sets do. GREAT DRUM KIT
This is a fabulous deal and a great kit for the intermediate drummer or for the serious starter. Everything came with this kit and we couldn't be happier. This kit was purchased for our 10 year old daughter who has expressed a interest in the drums for the last 3 years now, so we finally gave-in. We did switch out the Pearl cymbals for Sabians (just a personal choice on tone) and were able to consign the Pearl cymbals at our local music store. Originally ordered the Centerstage drum kit, (which isn't a true KIT) so when we got this, we were VERY HAPPY and so is our little girl. Now we just need soundproofing material... lol!Great product; easy to put together (especially if you watch the video on youtube prior to construction). Beautiful tone, very sturdy hardware and a great look!

Customer Video Review Length:: 5:22 MinsGot the set 3 weeks ago and i'm stoked. My girlfriend -in video- plays it too and we are fighting each other to use it! As other reviewers have said- really responsive pads without being too sensitive. The sounds is clear and can get mighty loud if you run it through an amp. As a drummer trying to get my chops up- i like the training tools like the songs to play along to. If you live in an apartment or want to play at night- plug in headphones and get into your own world! Light, powerful- extremely happy with it.

A Really Good Buy!
I was looking for an inexpensive electronic drum set for my 13 year-old . I took my chances on the Pyle-Pro and was not disappointed. It was quickly shipped. Although it took a long time to assemble, it was not difficult (I am a 51 year-old woman). The realistic sound just amazed me. My son can also plug in his iPod using the little cable from his iDog, and play along to his downloads through the headphones. Having a small house, this set does not take up much space, and with his door shut, I barely hear a thing. Everyone is happy!

I wanted to make sure to review this product because i couldn't find a review when i was looking.I took the dive and brought this set because of the price range and the fact it has MIDI in and out.Positives:Pads respond very well to hits and velocity to Volume.Frame is strong metal bars, some assembly required took me 30mins alone.Foot pedals are light and react fast, not much pressure needed.The sounds that the brain create are really good quality specially through monitoring headphones.The midi works great with computer software. (delay in sound feedback is caused by additional midi interface not drum kit.)Negatives:In good quality headphones I can hear a radio station in the left ear very faint when not playing.Through PC speakers the sound isn't loud enough and hiss is present when volume is full. same for basic headphones.pedals need some rubber feet to stick to laminate and ceramic surfaces. they...

Great beginner set!
Purchased the pyle pro as a practice set and was very surprised at the quality of the set. The heads respond quite well in sound and feel. The foot pedals aren't bad.. kinda like the rock band pedals... they respond just fine. While you only get 10 drum styles to choose from, they all sound great (through the right speakers). The metronome isn't the greatest, but you can easily go out and purchase your own. This is a good drum set to even jam at home with your friends and to practice without disturbing anyone. Assembly wasn't too difficult, but it did not come with the dvd mentioned on the amazon website. I don't think you really need it though.Overall I think its a great set to start off with. It offers everything you need to get started without blowing your bank.

I spent close to a month mulling over a myriad of choices before settling on the Gammon Percussion 5-Pieces Junior Drum Set complete package. I had two conflicting goals going into this purchase: I wanted a decent-quality kit that would last a while, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. After assembling this kit, I feel both of my goals have been satisfied.Last summer I set up a portion of my drum set to see if my then 3.5 y/o son would be interested in it. He was initially, but after about a week, the drums fell silent and were eventually packed away from whence they came. In early February this year, he began asking about my drums on an almost daily basis. I set the kit up again, and he played it for a few minutes before moving on to something else. It occurred to me that my kit setup was maybe too big for him, and since he couldn't sit at it and play it like Daddy did, it didn't hold his interest.
