Good tone, nice size to carry for noismaker at big events.
I bought 2 of them for a graduation event. They were just the right size to carry around and still make a lot of noise. The two cow bells had slightly different tones which was fine with me. Top to learn more

Where's the beef?
When you think of a cowbell, this is it.If you want to bell a cow, or hang it over a door, you will hear this bell. I used it to cheer marathon runners and they sure loved it. Of course there were screams of "more cowbell!" and there were plenty of smiles. It feels like a durable item, well crafted, and good covering. It is definitely not a toy or a party favor. I may have to use this with my 15 month old, he is starting to run now. Top to learn more

Great Cowbell
This is a lovely cherry coloured cowbell. It is not as clangy sounding as the older brass cowbells. It has a beautiful tone. It is lightweight. This is a perfect gift from an uncle to his nephew or niece to annoy his / her parents with. This is a fantastic value. I expect years of use from this cowbell.Unfortunately, I have not tested this item on an actual cow. My shih tzu does enjoy it though, and he has markings like a cow.

Best instrument ever!
Wow, what can I say?I just received this awesome instrument as a birthday gift, and I'm extremely impressed. Are you in a band with a song that seems lacking? Just lay down some cowbell and you're sure to soar to the top of the charts. The cowbell is indeed what separates the mediocre musicians from the true stars. Don't believe me? Check out these songs that have featured the cowbell."Don't Fear The Reaper" - Blue Oyster Cult"Honky Tonk Women" - The Rolling Stones"Only Time Will Tell" - Asia"Play That Funky Music" - Wild Cherry"Crosseyed And Painless" - Talking Heads"Slave To Love" - Bryan Ferry"Funkytown" - Lipps, Inc."Drown" - Son Volt"We're An American Band" - Grand Funk Railroad"You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" - Bachman-Turner Overdrive"Spinning Wheel" - Blood, Sweat and Tears"Jungle Love" - The Steve Miller... The last Cowbell you'll ever need!
Looking back on my long musical career, I have played many instruments, but I keep coming back to my first love... the cowbell. Oh sure, I've tried them all - from triangle to wood block but I have never felt so in tune with any other instrument than the Cowbell.I have many different cowbells in my collection. Most of these are for a particular mood only. If I am feeling somewhat polka, I always reach for my signature "Shmenge Brothers #6" with the zebrawood handle... for rock it is my "Gussmann Blue-Steel Screamer"... jazz see's me grab my "Trini Lopez Limmited Addition Melody Master" knock-off.But here is the finest single cowbell I have ever played. It has such a full & pleasant sound it seems to go with any type of music I play. My group was shocked when I showed up to our last gig and I only brought this little beauty with me. They protested at first and even threatened not to do the show, but their fears quickly disovled when I brought the house down... Top to learn more
Black metal cowbell, total height 7" (at the opening, the bell is 4" wide x 2.75" thick). Unlike traditional cowbells used on the farm, this instrument does not have a clapper inside. For a beater, use a triangle striker or drumstick that you purchase separately. A nice sound, and a great value!
Striker NOT included. Top to learn more
OK Cowbell, a little high in pitch.
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:09 MinsThere isn't much to say about a cowbell. Except I gotta have more. Here is the scoop - this is a fine cowbell, overall quality is good, it is well built with decent spot-welds, and the black finish is nice. You can easily change the sustain and tinniness by manipulating your grip using proper cowbell technique. With that said, this cowbell is a bit on the small side - therefore it is a bit tinny. I prefer a deeper cowbell, more of a tonk tonk tonk vs. a tink tink tink, so I will probably get a taller one and give this one to my little brother(because let's face it - a small cowbell is better than no cowbell).So...my advice is get a bigger one! 6 to 7" should be perfect.I'VE GOT A FEVER BABY, AND THE ONLY PRESCRIPTION IS MORE COWBELL! Awesome for cheering at bike races
I bought this to cheer at bike races with since the cyclocross crowd brought the bell over from Belgium. This thing is perfect for such shenanigans. The rubber coated handle is nice. The bell makes a nice loud ringing sound that isn't too annoying but just annoying enough to get the racers attention. The quality is pretty descent for the price too. And since it's Prime eligible you don't get dinged on any shipping costs. Definitely a great bell for race (or any other sport) spectating. Top to learn more

Let's Cheer!
Bought this cowbell to use at football games. There is no feeling like making extra noise cheering your son's football team in the stands! The sound of ringing the cowbell for great plays made on the field is what I purchased the cowbell for. GO CARDINALS! :) Top to learn more

Beating the cowbell
One of the best companions if you're busting out the cowbell. The ridges offer you another sound other than just hitting it. Nice and thick for an easy grip. Top to learn more
Beat it... Just beat it.
Great little cowbell beater. The textured grip allows for a more positive hold on the beater. It's very easy to control. When you need more cowbell, it's the perfect accompaniment to bring on the cowbell. Top to learn more
Eminently effective
Need more cowbell? Maybe you just need a better cowbell beater, which this product surely is. Stout, strong and comfortable to handle - Meinl's cowbell beater will make your smaller cowbells ring out strong and provide optimum sound from larger bells. Top to learn more
If Arkansas decides to go the route of keeping Interim Coach Taver Johnson for the season, things may go downhill for them, much as things did for Ohio State and Interim Coach Luke Fickel after Jim Tressel was escorted out of town. There has also been talk of letting Interim Head Coach Taver Johnson continue to coach through this season, and then conduct a formal search after the season is complete. On Tuesday afternoon the University of Arkansas officially ended its relationship with and employment of Head Football Coach Bobby Petrino . Petrino, as everyone knows by now, was involved in a motorcycle accident the week before, but failed to... Magee is considered to be a good young name in the coaching community, and thoughts were that he would be a higher level program coach within several years anyways. Many surrounding the Arkansas program have begun to speculate on who the Hogs will bring in to replace Petrino, and names like Mark Hudspeth (formerly the Co-OC at State), Garrick Magee, Butch Davis, and many others have begun to circulate as... It will all come down to this for Arkansas and their 2012 season's success: how easily can a new coach come in, win over the players, and smoothly transition from Petrino's style to his own. Looking at the Razorback's schedule leading up to the State game in mid-November, they should easily win 6 of their 10 games. The Buckeyes limped to 6-6 under Fickel, and I think you could possibly see the same outcome with keeping an interim coach at Arkansas.

For whatever reason I'm feeling good going into this weekend, so RobbieRandolph picks your Mississippi State Bulldogs to take 2 of 3 from South Carolina providing a huge momentum boost going into next weeks Super Bulldog Weekend. As great as having Norris back in the lineup is, I doubt he's ready to take his spot back at the hot corner, and State's defense surely needs to step it up. Both he and OF Brent Brownlee had some fluid drained from their knees so look for Norris... Saturday Carolina will most likely throw freshman Jordan Montgomery (2-0 2. 70) while State will send groundballer Kendall Graveman (2-1 2. But, Mississippi State is riding a 2 game winning streak as the weekend series with the #10 ranked Gamecocks is here. South Carolina is the reigning back to back National Champion, so it won't be easy, but this team is getting healthier, and after last weeks series win, has the mentality they can beat anyone. Last weekends' return of Daryl Norris to the plate should continue to help alleviate State's struggles at the plate.
