AWESOME
I was very skeptical at first as I have been burned by online things that seemed like a great deal just to find out they weren't. When this product arrived, I was amazed at the quality of the guitar itself. So then I proceeded to set up the amp and plug in the guitar. The sound was absolutely incredible. This was a great deal at a steal of a price. I went to a guitar store, saw the same package deal, for about $50 more than what I paid. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality guitar. The only downside was the gig bag that came with it, but I picked up a new one at the local guitar store for about $50.

great guitar
great guitar, the sound is awesome and it is very easy to play. The built in tuner makes tuning much faster and can be done at any time. What is not said is that you need a 9v battery for it to work. (no problem just would have liked a heads up) and if you buy this guitar buy a hard case as well. The case that comes with is is like a rain coat. Definitely worth the purchase though!

Fender T-Bucket Sunburst... Love at first sight
Ok, I have to confess that this is a case of love at first sight, from the first moment I saw this guitar I knew I had to get it (well I went on and did a little investigation on it too, of course).I got the Sunburst version in May 2011 from a different vendor (whose name has to do with "Guitar"s and since it is a huge store it is kind of a "Center", no offenses Amazon... lol) mostly because I wanted to make sure it was well set up instead of purchasing it on line (and a $50 off cupon from GC finally convinced me). I tested one of these guitars at the store, but later when I finally decided to buy it, they had no stock and we had to order one from their distribution center, given the price I decided to move on and take the risk to purchase something untested.Since I could not play the actual one before the purchase, I was a little nervous about the setup when it arrived, but happily the one I got, as far as I am concerned, was perfectly setup: the neck was...

Beautiful Guitar!
This guitar was exactly what I was looking for. It was too expensive for me to buy in the music store, so I was ecstatic to find it on Amazon! This guitar is Sweet, nice look, nice sound, great playability and all around a good guitar for the price! i have an old guitar from the 1970's that i learned on, but as soon as got this guitar i loved it, from the cool flame maple top, to the pinstrip on the head, and smooth rich sound. if your thinking of getting a good guitar for cheap this is the one to get!

My 1st guit-fiddle
I don't know what those others guys had a problem with, My guitar arrived in 2 days (which was awesome) the guitar looked great and tuned in fast. the pick was comically huge but who cares. And just to add forethought into the mix, it came with the 12V battery needed already in the compartment! That, to me, shows prior planning to ensure customer satisfaction.

This guitar is not the highest quality as for as finishes are concerned ,however I was really satified with the sound and the way it stays in tune .I bought it just as a back up practice guitar and would reccomend it for beginner guitar .

I like it but...BUT....
When I spend 40 dollars on a guitar I am not expecting much. Lets get all the obvious stuff out of the way: The guitar bag it comes with doesnt fit, the "tuner" is actually a pitch pipe (I mean it works but dont call it a tuner) the pick it comes with is ridiculously huge (Ironically I have very large hands so I am able to use it if I want, I just dont) and the strings it comes with are laughable and should be replaced immediately. The Guitar Strap is too short to be usable on an accoustic guitar unless you add a strap button at the base of the neck. That being said...I didnt buy this for the bag, the "tuner", the pick, or the strings. I paid the 40$ for an accoustic/electric guitar. So lets look at that.the wood used for the guitar body has a very fragile feel to it (like if you dropped the guitar onto a hard surface it might not be able to take the fall. (As a matter of fact I actually did just that and the guitar survived just fine, but it still feels...

This guitar DOES have a BIG SOUND for a small price
I was thrilled when my guitar arrived and even more so after I tuned it and began to play.My guitar is absolutely beautiful. The finish is flawless. And it's got that new guitar smell...ahhhhhh.It does have a pick guard (that is not shown in the photo on any website or in any catalog) which pleases me. It would be a shame to scratch the surface while strumming with a heavier pick. I read one review on a music vendor's website where the reviewer complained about Takamine and Jasmine printed all over the pick guard. And they were right about that...but I found it very easy to remove all these words by simply peeling off this protective sticker. Dah.The strings are a little heavier than I like but I'll be changing them in a few weeks anyway.The sound and craftsmanship is anything but what you would expect from such an affordable guitar and everything you'd expect to pay more for. Sounds Good...But Quality A Different Story!!!
I had this guitar for three days. I opened it, looked it over, had a few dings and scratches, the strings looked good (no corrosion), basically looked like a $90 guitar.But I will say this...It sounds pretty good!! For a guitar in this price range with the stock strings on it, it really shocked me how outstanding it did sound....so now onto the 3 star reviewAnytime you get a new guitar, it is required by most guitar players to put your strings on it. As I was changing the strings, and I own three guitars so I am experienced in this regard, the nut flew off. I removed two strings and was polishing the fret board when it flew off, across my living room. I had to remove all the strings and was going to attempt to put the nut back on when I noticed the neck had a two inch crack in it now and the headstock was easily bendableMost people would have given 1 star for this guitar if this happened to them. This instrument might actually be in a class of its own. That is, it would be extremely difficult to find a guitar in this price band that comes even remotely close in terms of quality; not only with regard to craftsmanship, but certainly the sound it produces. Beyond sounding comparatively spectacular, it is far more durable than perhaps any other hollow-bodied instrument on the market due to its components and design. Small, nice and light. Beautiful
Just what I expected. I ordered the natural color one, and I'm satisfied.It is a beautiful designed, ultra-light, low-action, and great-sounding instrument. Acoustic or electrically. You can't miss. For the price, it is a great bargain. Great for recording.Of course, if you expect something to beat $1000+ guitars, then you will be dissapointed. Great Selection for My First Guitar

Not Flawless - But Wonderful!
I have been playing guitar for a little over a year and started on a very inexpensive beginners guitar with a smaller style body. I promised myself that if I stuck with consistent practive for a year I would reward myself with a new instrument. After visiting the local guitar shop I had set my heart on Takamine EG260C-WR. The smaller FXC body style is very close to what I have been learning on. The biggest drawback was $350+ was a bit more than I wanted to spend.After several setbacks in saving up for the Tak I finally decided to go with something a bit less expensive, reasoning that I would be happier with a less expensive guitar in hand than falling short and having nothing new at all.After spending several weeks browsing used gear at Guitar Center I didn't see anything in my price range that I really liked. cant find another one with this quality at this price!
I was really skeptical of this guitar since it was so cheap and I wouldn't be able to actually play it before buying. I played a couple of other Jasmine guitars at a local shop after I ordered it and they sounded bad, so I got worried that I had made a mistake. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of this guitar!!! However, I was disappointed by the quality of the frets! They are so sharp that they literally cut my fingers just by rubbing my hand down the neck. My buddy is a professional musician so I asked him to check it out and he cut his fingers just by playing it. The company definitely could have used some quality control... I am having a luthier fix it and hopefully it wont cost me as much as an upgraded guitar would when he's done. Over all I am very pleased and am just bummed out that I can't play it for a couple more days.
