Great Accordion for the Price
You cant beat the quality and sound for the price of this accordion the next up 3 Row is the Hohner Corona II is about $1200+ (Also Made in China) so obviously the build will not be like that one but sound is very comparable. Love the matte black color so much better then the candy coated ones IMO. No complaints but i have not owned this for that long yet. The non adjustable strap can be adjusted very easily as the strap is leather all you have to do is unscrew the two screws that hold it to the body and just screw it to a new spot on the strap it was super easy and just trimmed off the excess strap now it fits just right.Also to make note when mine came in it came with Straps, Cleaning Cloth, and Hohner Diatonic Method Book I turned in a fix but if you order before its checked and...

The straps
I really do like this accordion and my husband likes it more than I do. The only thing we both found wrong with this instrument is that there are no instructions for putting on the straps. Both my husband and myself have never played this instrument before so I guess we need to take a lesson in putting on the straps.

A great accordion for the money
As a 32 bass piano accordion, this instrument has bass buttons for major, minor, and seventh chords on Eb, Bb, F, C, G, D, A, and E, making it possible to play most things you'd like to play as a beginner.I'm not a trainer accordion player, but am a classically trained pianist who was interested in teaching myself the accordion. This instrument seems like it will suit me well for as long as I'm content just "messing around" on the accordion. If I were to play in public in any capacity whatsoever, I would get a better instrument (likely something Italian-made, costing a thousand dollars or more). But for jamming with friends at home, this one is perfect.You can't beat the price. It's a great value for the money. Highly recommended as a first accordion.Made in China.

A Good Beginner Accordion
First off, let me be very clear - if you're serious about playing the accordion and you know you'll be doing it for a long time, skip this instrument. On the other hand, if you're a beginning student and you're not sure whether it's going to become a regular part of your life, this accordion is perfect for you.The Pros:-Decent-sized Keyboard (not the largest, but also not so small as to be a handicap early on)-32 Bass Buttons - It's a far cry from the number of bass buttons on most "professional" accordions, but a lot of more expensive student models come with just 12. This gives you a bit more to work with-Affordable - It's tough to find a new accordion for less-Comes with a case and straps. The case is pretty wimpy, but it WILL keep the dust off. If you're on a tight budget, the inclusion of these extras is great.-The accordion smells a little bit like a skating rink. You might consider this a con, but I don't mind the small dose...

Accordian Players Rock
Yes this is a very pretty instrument that we did buy on a whim. My 16 year old son is getting quite good just goofing around. The only hassle was Fed Ex delivery, usually it's UPS and they seem to be superior at least in my neck of the woods

Instrument NOT Toy!
This little "toy" accordion is more than just a toy. No it's not a toy it's an instrument, a REAL accordion! This is a cool little accordion, it sounds excactly like the real thing, plays very nicley ( Although it runs out of air quickly due to small bellows) It just feels and sounds great! Highly recommended!

Excellent product!
I bought this for my child's preschool class at daycare and they all love it so much! What a neat item! I wish I would've bought this for my 3 year old for Christmas instead : ) At least once a week I see the kids there playing with it! Definitely recommend this product for preschool aged children.

Excellent Gift
My husband plays the accordion and we purchased this toy accordian for our 3 year old grandson. He does not go anywhere now without it. It is well constructed and takes the sometimes rough handling from a 3 year old.

It's a toy, serves it's purpose.
I may be a bit more negative than others due to the fact that I've owned accordions and concertinas for over 25 years. When I came across this toy accordion I assumed it would be of better quality due to it being a Hohner, which is a well known and reputable german accordion maker. If you play the accordion, don't expect to play anything, it leaks air, so you can't really play anything. Unfortunatley this toy accordion is just like any of the others available on the market with the Hohner name slapped on the tiny box it comes in. The accordion itself just has a small sticker (made in China) on it. So, if like me you expect this toy accordion to be a bit better in quality due to the hohner name, don't be fooled. It's no better or worste than the others I've seen. I bought two and one had better tone and sound than the other. Also, my 3 year old broke the strap which is a one piece (left arm and top/bottom snap to close bellows. Also, the bass buttons ended up bending requiring me...

Can't go wrong with Palmer-Hughes
If you really want to learn how to play the piano accordion, then forget about all the quickie "Teach Yourself" single-volume books and start right here, with the first volume of the Palmer-Hughes course. "P&H" is an enduring classic for a good reason: The series is well-paced, well-ordered, explains things clearly, and is full of fun tunes to play.A glance through the preview will show that this volume was primarily intended for use by children starting out with a teacher at a fairly young age. But don't let that fool you--it works just fine for adults too (later volumes do "grow up" a bit). And while it's always best to learn with an instructor, you can use these to self-teach if you have to.Note that all the exercises and songs in this first volume can be played on just about any piano accordion, even a small, 12-bass model.

Too simple!
This book is too easy for an adult beginner who is starting the accordian, especially one who has any basis in piano and the keyboard. It is more appropriate for a child who has no experience with the keys or notes. I had purchased both this book and the 'Mel Bay's Deluxe Accordion Method' for my mother who wanted to learn the accordian. She has a solid piano background, and did not use this book at all but went straight to the Mel Bay method, which was much more appropriate for her to learn from.
